Our proposals:

bullet Extract 2.5 million tonnes of sand and gravel over 10 years to supply the increasing demand for construction aggregates in the local area.
bullet Sand and gravel will be dug using a loading shovel and transported by field conveyors to the processing plant.
bullet Purpose designed access onto A415 to Highways Agency standard.
bullet Low level aggregates processing plant and concrete plant to minimise the visual impact.
bullet No ‘waste’ will be imported to the site and only existing material on site will be used for the restoration.
bullet Provides 15 new local jobs plus additional work to other local businesses.

Special considerations:

bullet Improve the flood risk mitigation in the area.
bullet Protect the Scheduled Ancient Monument at Fullamoor Plantation.
bullet Reduce impact on local traffic by agreeing routes and avoiding Clifton Hampden and Culham bridges.
